and direction for the Regional Breastfeeding Coordinator.
-To identify priority areas for implementation within the
Breastfeeding
strategy for Northern Ireland.
-To support best practice in the promotion and protection
of breastfeeding.

| Work: |
This
group meets quarterly to provide strategic direction for the
implementation of the Breastfeeding strategy for Northern
Ireland. It also provided funding for the 2002
Conference on Breastfeeding. In autumn 2002 the group produced
the first issue of Keeping
abreast - a bi-annual newsletter, which is published
by the Agency. |
