Title:
Ageing
well in Northern Ireland. Promoting health with older people.
|
Published:
HPA, March, 1997. |
Description:
The HPA and Age
Concern Northern Ireland formed a partnership for a three year
period from April 1995 to March 1998 to establish action for
health under the theme of 'Ageing Well', a national UK project
managed by Age Concern, England. Both organisations recognised
that there was an opportunity to promote and highlight action
in Northern Ireland that would demonstrate how health could
be promoted with this age group. The intention of the project
was to document the work which selected groups had undertaken
as part of Ageing Well. This report outlines the action taken,
the results, and the next steps in taking forward the initiative. |
