This booklet offers general advice on the control of tuberculosis (TB). It includes a history of TB, ways the illness can spread, symptoms to look out for and the treatment available. It also answer questions on the BCG (Bacillus Calmette-Guerin) vaccination for TB and provides contact details for those who wish to find out more about the disease. |

group:
General public, especially schoolchildren identified as being at risk because their parents or grandparents come from a country with high rates of TB, the homeless and those who have spent time living abroad in high prevalence TB countries.
