is intended to help keep all those involved in working with
mothers and babies up to date with progress
towards achieving the aims of the Breastfeeding
strategy for Northern Ireland.
This issue reports on the regional breastfeeding conference
held in May 2003, activities organised to promote
National Breastfeeding Week across Northern Ireland, new recommendations
on weaning for exclusively breastfed babies, and an update
on recent research. Keeping abreast is published twice
yearly. |
